Key Personnel Steve Scheipeter, CGR and CAPS President and Owner Steve started S.W. Scheipeter Construction after working 13 years in the construction industry. Early in his career he completed a full apprenticeship in the Carpenters' Joint Apprenticeship Program, after which he worked as a carpenter foreman for a large commercial construction company. Steve is a former Chairperson for the Remodelors Council of the St. Louis HBA. His extensive experience in residential remodeling, new home construction and commercial construction led him to the area which he truly loves most – custom residential construction. Steve's role at S.W. Scheipeter Construction allows him to communicate with clients from the initial stages throughout the entire construction process. Steve, his wife Michelle, and their three children are Webster Groves residents. Gena Reed Office Manager Joining S.W. Scheipeter Construction in the summer of 2004, Gena brings 18 years of architectural and construction administrative experience to the team. Working in various capacities, she has developed a well-rounded knowledge of project life cycles and building systems. Gena works hand in hand with homeowners throughout their project. Gena and her husband, Scott, reside with their daughter in Sunset Hills. Tom Adams Construction Manager Often referred to as "The Other Guy", Tom provides S.W. Scheipeter Construction with over two decades in the construction industry. He served a full apprenticeship in the Carpenters' Joint Apprenticeship Program and worked as a construction foreman for 17 years. Prior to joining S.W. Scheipeter Construction he served as a general foreman/project manager for a large custom builder. Tom's role allows him to oversee and manage the daily activities on each job. Tom and his wife, Cherie, live in Oakville. Their combined family includes seven children. Field Personnel Bill Hibdon Lead Carpenter Bill has been a carpenter since 1976. His 31+ years of experience enable him to be an effective lead member of the S.W. Scheipeter Construction team. Having graduated from the Apprenticeship Program early in his career, Bill has gone on to run many crews and construction sites. A fisherman at heart, you can usually find him lakeside in his spare time, rod and reel in hand. Bill and his wife, Sharon, live in south St. Louis county. They have three grown children.
